about

Using an integrative approach, I seek to honour all aspects of your unique being and experiences, supporting you on your healing journey.
— Rebekah Otim

Rebekah (she/her) (MSW, RSW, SBT) is a biracial, cisgender, heterosexual woman. She is a registered social worker, psychotherapist, somatic breathwork facilitator and lover of holistic wellness. Rebekah is committed to decolonizing her mental health and wellness work, and has been greatly transformed by various wellness modalities and traditional ways of being, knowing and doing - all of which have greatly impacted her own healing journey. She is deeply passionate about creating spaces for people to return home to themselves through therapeutic, somatic, and wholistic practices.

Rebekah creates an inclusive, non-judgemental, and welcoming space for you to show up as your full self. All of you is welcome.

Spending over 12 years in various mental health spaces, Rebekah brings a unique lens to her work. She completed her Bachelors of Social Work at the University of British Columbia and her Masters of Social Work at the University of Victoria. She completed her Somatic Breathwork Facilitator certification with Eddy Tony.

Rebekah otim

  • I consider all aspects of your wellbeing - physical, mental, and spiritual.

  • Using a blend of modalities to support your wellbeing, I draw from somatic-based, mindfulness-based, narrative, trauma-informed, inner child and attachment-based practices.

  • I am committed to de-centring traditional white, heteronormative, patriarchal, and gender-binary narratives.

It is foundational that I continuously critique the systems of oppression that impact various communities including but not limited to Indigenous, Black, POC, women and 2SLGBTQIA+ folks.

  • As a settler and as a person of the Afro-diaspora I am committed to both personal and professional de-colonial work. I seek to support healing, connection, and wellness through a culturally affirming lens.
